COSLAB Kickstarter Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting COSLAB on Kickstarter. COSLAB is a crowdfunding project and not a traditional retail purchase. By backing this campaign, you acknowledge that your pledge supports the development, manufacturing, and fulfillment of COSLAB products and rewards. Please read the following refund policy carefully before making a pledge.

During the Kickstarter Campaign (August 15, 2026 – October 14, 2026)

No payment is collected until the Kickstarter campaign successfully ends.
During the campaign period, backers may modify or cancel their pledge directly through Kickstarter at any time without charge.

Kickstarter Payment Processing (October 15, 2026 – October 28, 2026)

Following the successful completion of the campaign, Kickstarter will begin processing payments from backers. Payment processing and retries may take up to approximately 14 days depending on the payment method.

Cooling-Off Period (October 29, 2026 – November 4, 2026)

Following Kickstarter's payment processing period, COSLAB will provide a voluntary 7-day cooling-off period.
During this period, backers may request a full refund of their successfully charged pledge amount.
No cancellation fee, processing fee, or administrative charge will be deducted during this period.

Grace Period (November 5, 2026 – November 11, 2026)

Following the cooling-off period, COSLAB will provide an additional 7-day grace period.
Refund requests submitted during this period will be subject to a 10% deduction from the total pledge amount to cover non-recoverable payment processing fees, platform fees, administrative costs, and transaction expenses.
The remaining balance will be refunded to the original payment method whenever possible.

Final Refund Deadline

After November 11, 2026 , all pledges become final.
Beginning November 12, 2026 :
● No cancellations will be accepted.
● No refunds will be issued.
● No changes of mind will be accommodated.
● Reward tiers cannot be downgraded for refund purposes.
This policy applies regardless of personal circumstances, financial situations, relocation, preference changes, or other non-product-related reasons.

Manufacturing and Production Commitment

Following the final refund deadline, COSLAB may begin:
● Component procurement
● Manufacturing preparation
● Tooling and production planning
● Inventory allocation
● Packaging preparation
● Logistics and fulfillment activities
As these commitments involve significant costs and contractual obligations, refunds are no longer possible once the final refund deadline has passed.

Shipping Delays

Backers acknowledge that crowdfunding projects may encounter delays due to factors beyond COSLAB's control, including:
● Manufacturing challenges
● Supplier delays
● Component shortages
● Shipping disruptions
● Customs processing
● Regulatory requirements
● Force majeure events
Delays alone do not qualify a backer for a refund after the final refund deadline.

Address Changes

Backers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
COSLAB is not responsible for:
● Incorrect shipping addresses
● Unclaimed packages
● Failed deliveries caused by inaccurate information provided by the backer
Any additional shipping costs resulting from incorrect information may be charged to the backer.

Damaged or Defective Products

If a COSLAB device arrives damaged or defective, the backer must contact COSLAB within 14 days of delivery.
COSLAB may request supporting evidence, including photographs or videos.
Upon verification, COSLAB may provide:
● A replacement product
● Replacement components
● Another reasonable remedy at COSLAB's discretion

COSBALL Capsules

Due to hygiene, safety, and product integrity considerations:
● Opened COSBALL capsules are non-refundable.
● Used COSBALL capsules are non-refundable.
● Replacement may be provided for damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered capsules.

Kickstarter Creator Obligations

This refund policy applies to voluntary cancellation requests made by backers.
Nothing in this policy limits COSLAB's obligations under Kickstarter's Terms of Use.
If COSLAB is ultimately unable to fulfill rewards, COSLAB will communicate transparently with backers and make reasonable efforts to fulfill rewards or provide appropriate remedies in accordance with Kickstarter's Creator Obligations.
